Must have wedding shots

Today my prompt centers around must have shots at a wedding. And although it's vague, I would say candids are an absolute must. Those moments when the bride and groom are grinning and in love, is a beautiful moment that is important to catch. Moments from them at the altar, to the cutting of the cake, to the dancing, are all ideal candids. Although portrait shots and posed group photos are necessary for the photo albums, I believe it is the candid shots that will be most remembered because they allow them to truly be in the moment. Choosing gear for a wedding would be difficult, as I feel I wouldn't want to carry a lot of gear around. It seems inconvenient, and more likely to get in the way of the bride and groom's big day. I would say having your typical lens as well as a telephoto lens would be ideal, as depending on the size of the wedding party I feel the photographer may get lost in the crowd and shoved back. Additionally I think the photographer should secure a location with good lighting for group and portrait shots. Whether that means bringing some studio lighting, or simply finding a beautiful area of the wedding with good lighting, it should be addressed prior to the wedding to make the process more smooth. Individual shots of the bride and groom should be taken both before and after the wedding, and at every stage in between. It's important to record them throughout the process because you never know what their favorite parts might be. As far as group photos, I would focus on having good lighting and setting, as well as making sure everyone is looking at the camera! Hopefully everyone will be more willing to coordinate for the lovely bride and groom ;) Additionally the photographer should try to include some creative, in the moment group shots! Below I've included some visuals for you all to get an idea of what shots I have in mind.
Fabulous photographs! Love your eye
