Generations

this project involved interviewing various genders and generations in order to determine stereotypes that fail to ring true

Society's Vision: Gen Z Interactions

This image is meant to showcase how the world thinks that the interactions between Gen Z children are confined to screens and technology.

Their Vision: Gen Z Interactions

This picture demonstrates that interactions between Gen Z children and teens are so much more than screens. The screens can be incorporated into healthy face to face relationships.

Society's Vision: Gen X

This image is meant to portray how their younger counterparts consider Generation X a part of the past. A generation that does not utilize technology to its fullest extent.

Their Vision: Gen X

This photograph juxtaposes its counterpart, displaying Generation X's usage of technology. Despite society's views, Generation X has actually adapted to the influx in technology and uses it just as much as anyone else at home and in the workplace.

Society's Vision: Gen Z

This image portrays how society thinks Gen Z has become too invested in technology, to the point of an unhealthy obsession. The world seems to have a fine line between the appropriate amount of technology usage and what is too much technology.

Their Vision: Gen Z

This picture contrasts its pair, as it shows that the reason Gen Z has become so invested in technology is because the world has as well. At home, in school, and later at work, they are surrounded by technology and a need to be able to use it efficiently.
